I know very well that Dragon Riders are a horrible cliche in Fantasy stories. Then again, what isn't really? The trick is to give them, and anything else, a good twist and hopefully have the characters and events surrounding the concept be compelling enough.
I'm also aware that I'm bombarding you guys with a lot of information without going into much exposition. Don't worry. Everything will clear up with time. Right now I'm more focused on getting these two characters to the proper dynamic. Hopefully you're enjoying the process, but trust me, I'm as eager as you are to bite into the crunchier parts of the world building.
