There you have it folks. Not only was Ydriss' father a Dragon Rider, but he used to be the rider of Belophrae, the very Matriarch of the dragon Roost. I guess that doesn't mean much to most people but it's significant to me and for the future of the story.
So I've been drawing this comic by hand and colouring it digitally using an old, over a decade old, Wacom Intuos tablet. Yesterday I received a brand new Cintiq 13HD. I will start using it soon for the comic. I don't know to what extent and how much of my workflow is going to be affected by it. Certainly the colouring will be done on the Cintiq starting soon, but I'm going to make sure I keep to the same style until, at the very least, the end of volume 3. For volume 4 I'll have to see if I want to experiment with any apparent changes. After that though, we'll be starting Tome 2 and then, well, all bets are off. Obviously I'm going to keep the same general style but I'll have to see what doors experimenting with the Cintiq opens up.
