There you go. More of Ydriss' history is unraveled. It only took nine months to give birth to this baby, but careful; this is far from the end of the story. Knowing where Ydriss comes from only helps us path where she's going and remember, she is not the only one on this journey. The real mystery is Belophrae, the matriarch. Why does she do what she does?
Not my best artwork on this page. Planning that many frames and that many bubbles as narration kind of messed with me. I'm not unhappy with the page, but sometimes I have something in my head that just doesn't come out exactly like I want it and I'll obsess over that.
I hope you enjoy it. This is actually turning out to be an exciting volume and the pages are coming out fast and furious and each is fun to draw. Once we dial down with Ydriss and Valadura, we get to visit with Xander again and learn a little more about that guy. Seriously... what's his deal?
