I'm back! We're back! The comic is back!
Again, I'm so very, very sorry for skipping a week. I was at Adepticon which is a super important event for me. It's some of the most fun I have all year and, full disclosure, I did not have my stuff ready for the trip. I wanted to have time to cram a page in, but that would have meant compromising quality to a level I was not comfortable with. I had promised myself I would do a full year of this without skipping a week and I have failed. By so very little to. I didn't just fail you guys, I failed myself.
The plot thickens, I guess. I have a few more pages to explain where this is going and then we're off to the races.
I worry that I'm having Ydriss be too emotional. There's a lot of heat on the internet about portraying women as too weak and while I have a specific idea of what my character's mindset is, I wonder if she's coming off as more of a victim then intended. If you have some insight into this, let me know.
